Owner - Jim & Gayle Nogle
We are proud to state that Illini Manor is owner-operated... that is, we not only manage the building, but we own it. Unlike the management of most other campus area apartment buildings, we have no third party to answer to and we are more interested in operating the building for the long-term investment rather than taking short term profits. We have been managing apartments for over 30 years and have operated Illini Manor since January 1, 1976.

Additionally, we are both U of I graduates, having each lived and studied on campus for 5 years (back in the 70's). Jim spent his 5 years working as Resident Manager of Charmor Apts. at 107 E. Chalmers and Gayle lived at Bromley and in 3 other campus area apartment buildings. As former students and tenants we do understand the student/tenant perspective. We have assembled a very capable and loyal team to help us manage our apartments. These fine people have helped us earn and maintain our unblemished reputation of excellent service and quality buildings. We are pleased to introduce our staff below:

Office Manager - Cindy Brewer
Cindy is our Office Manager. Cindy is a 1991 Parkland College graduate. She received her A.A.S. as an Administrative Assistant with a minor in Business. She came to work for us in December of 1993 and we won't let her leave! Cindy manages all seven of our properties and handles all aspects of the rental business. She is the one to talk to if you have any questions, comments or problems. She is a true professional and always happy to help.

Building Maintenance - Tracy McCallister & Steve Moore
Tracy is our Company Superintendent and heads up our maintenance department. Tracy has been on the Illini Manor team since June of 1994! He, and his staff, will be taking care of our properties and your maintenance requests. If you have a problem in your apartment, just let us know and we will have Tracy and his staff take care of it promptly. Prior to joining the Illini Manor team, Tracy worked for the Nogle family for about ten years as an Aircraft Mechanic for Nogle & Black Aviation. Tracy is very good at what he does and we know that you will appreciate his friendly service.

Steve Moore joined the Illini Manor team in November 2006. Steve comes to us with several years of previous apartment maintenance experience. He also has considerable experience working with an engineering firm and the local water company. Steve will be happy to respond to your maintenance requests.

Resident Managers - Trisha & Tiffany McNew
Trisha is one of our Co-Resident Managers this year. Trisha lives in #122, just down from the office and shares a suite with her sister Tiffany. Trisha is no stranger to our building, as she cleaned apartments for us for over 4 years and was our Resident Manager in 2005 as well. So she is familiar with our operations. We have known Trisha for more than 6 years. We are sure you will enjoy her pleasant personality and her wonderful smile.

Tiffany shares the Resident Manager position with her sister. She lives in #124 right across from the office. Like her sister, Trisha, Tiffany has cleaned apartments for us for over 4 years. She also works part time in our office as an assistant to Cindy. Tiffany is a huge help to Cindy and our residents. We are pleased to have both her, and her sister, on the Illini Manor team. We are sure you will enjoy her friendly demeanor and her gracious smile.
